You make a good point about the Earth being flat debate. Don't you find it interesting to learn that the Bible said that the Earth was round (ISA 40:22) thousands of years before Columbus? Such insight far beyond human comprehension of the times can help build faith in the Creator Jehovah.
(PS. 83:18) Through whom this knowledge was made available to Bible writers, including the creation account.
I guess you haven't heard of the holographic universe concept. Guess what? The world is flat. So is the universe. Its a part of quantum physics. You know, the 11 dimension membrane stuff.
What's next "the world is flat" - actually - that was the common scientific explanation - The Bible has always stated that it is round. "The earth is the center of the universe?" also another scientific explanation - disputed by The Bible. As time goes on - more and more scientists are "discovering" truths that anyone who has read their Bible already know. You obviously have not done your research - you just want to mock people who believe in God. Do your homework - check out creation science. Look at the facts - the statistics that all of this happened by a "big bang" are astronomical. It actually takes more faith to believe that we just happened - the earth came to be by some cosmic explosion than it does to believe in a designer. The fact that the earth is the only planet that can sustain life? If it were just 1/4 inch off it's axsis - we would die - but it all just happened by chance? That's a bit crazy - but I guess you are welcome to have your faith with no proof. Evolution is a theory and only a theory - and most of the "evidence" points to the existence of a creator.
